Organizaciones sociales anunciaron una serie de acciones legales en contra de los responsables de la brutal golpiza que dejó en coma al joven homosexual, Daniel Zamudio (24), quien se encuentra internado en la Posta Central.Zamudio llegó al centro asistencial este fin de semana con un TEC cerrado, fracturas y diversos golpes. Además, su cuerpo estaba marcado de esvásticas, por lo que se presume que sus atacantes formaban parte de un grupo neonazi.
El Movimiento de Integración y Liberación Homosexual (Movilh) repudió el hecho y anunció que solicitará una audiencia con el ministro del Interior, Rodrigo Hinzpeter, para presentar este caso. Por otra parte, confirmaron que se interpondrán demandas judiciales para procesar a los culpables.
El cantante puertoriqueño, Ricky Martin, quien asumió su homosexualidad hace algunos años, también se manifestó en Twitter para entregar su apoyo a Zumudio y escribió "No más odio,no más discriminación. Espero que se haga justicia YA. Mucha luz para Daniel y toda su familia. #fuerzadanielzamudio".
