Un Carabinero, identificado como el sargento Primero Raúl Monsalve Pedraza, resultó gravemente herido la noche de este martes luego de acudir en defensa de hechos de violencia intrafamiliar en la ciudad de Quillón, provincia de Ñuble.
Los hechos habrían ocurrido cuando al interior de una vivienda, ubicada en la calle Juan Paulino Flores, se desarrollaba una pelea entre una pareja de adultos, cuando familiares de la mujer agredida llamaron a carabineros.
Posteriormente, el policía habría intercedido en el incidente, por lo que el agresor de la mujer, de 25 años, le habría propinado 2 estocadas, siendo trasladado en la Unidad de Rescate del Cuerpo de Bomberos hasta el Cesfam de Quillón, lugar en donde el médico de turno le diagnosticó heridas graves y desde donde fue derivado de urgencia hasta el Hospital de Bulnes.
El autor de las heridas fue detenido en estado de ebriedad y llevado a constatar lesiones al mismo centro de salud, con diagnostico de lesiones leves.
El hombre quedó detenido y será formalizado este miércoles en audiencia de control de detención en el Juzgado de Garantía de Bulnes.
